It's been a wonderful year, full of art, outdoors, and people. I've had my most successful year in art so far...which is crazy given what little planning I did for that. Just think what it will be like for the coming year...now that I have a plan!
From giving workshops, to participating and being juried into shows, to art sales, commissions, new technology, summer fun, foot surgery, and staying close to home with my boys...its been a great year.

Given that I'm not fully on my hiking feet...I am walking closer to home this winter. But it gives me the opportunity to indulge in the simple quiet things that are truly outside my door, under my nose and I have a greater awareness of what is really around me.
As a lover of birds, of course, I would notice the return of the eagles to the shore. They are always around, they just seem to inhabit the lakeshore a bit more in the winter than the summer (when the ospreys are the residents). I'll get better pictures in the new year.
My new year will bring lots of new artistic pursuits, workshops, shows and a rebuild of my website. I want to freshen it up and make a commitment to post regularly. Watch for a newsletter in 2015!
From me to you, much Peace, Love, Joy.
