My Mother's Day was special as I was able to have my 89 year old Mom, my younger sister, also a mom of two boys, one of her sons, a dear friend from Medicine hat and her daughter from Westbank my two kids and three friends for Mother's Day lunch at our house. It was extra special as, due to unforeseen circumstances, was the first time since Thanksgiving 2011 that we were together for our habitual family "special occasion" gathering. A few left earlier but nine of us played a hot game of Ramoli until 8:00 p.m. A wonderful day with beautiful weather. I never knew the abundant yellow daisies were called arrowroot balsam before Sheila so thanks for that extra tidbit. Also love all the flowers you continue to paint. Mother's Day is past but if we try real hard we can enjoy Mothers' Days throughout the spring and summer especially with our families.
