I have been in a "stuck" place this month. My brain has been resisting standing in front of the easel; I've been using everything else as an excuse not to paint. What I have been doing, though , is accepting that this is just where I am at, or where I WAS at. After this past weekend, I think I'm "unstuck". The result has been 2 new paintings that I'm satisfied with. The mountain scene is a new painting of one that I did in the Jerry Markham workshop. I think I learned something! They could still use some work, but I am in general pleased with them! What do you think?
